Most recently, I am painting portraits in oil both from life and using digital images. Usually, my subjects are family and friends.

This year I will be painting a new series of portraits of seven life-sentenced women whom I have painted and recorded repeatedly since the early 1990s.

My formal education includes a BFA from Syracuse University and an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania. I completed a summer program at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and apprenticeships at The Fabric Workshop and Museum and Moravian Pottery and Tileworks.
